Greetings fellow Cowboy Shooters! Wow - it was a hot today but we had 29 hearty souls come out and shoot with us today. Again, Burly Bill kept us in the shade. We also only shot 4 quick, simple stages and this was a good thing! After the shoot we had a meeting to talk about Ruckus. I will be sending the details of that meeting out in another email.
We had 3 women shooters come out to shoot all by themselves today - Rock Creek Bottoms, Sassafrass Cyndy & Plinky. And this was Plinkys very first shoot! Way to go Plinky! Burly Bill told me that when he met Plinky last fall at the gun show that she vowed they would never shoot and here she is! I have attached her picture so you can see the smile on her face when she finished her last stage!
Congrats to our overall winner Rowdy Rebel! Also to Fast Fingers Green who was right on his tail! Thier scores are a good example of "Rank scoring". Take a look at the scores you will see what I mean. Also, Fast Fingers and Tin Star Larry were both CLEAN for the day! Tin Star Larry has only been shooting a few months so this was an espically big day for him!
Reminder - next work day is next weeknd - yes, both day! Starting at 8:00 - bring your tools and plenty of water!
